I am reading your amazing book, Road to Hell, and came across the name Yusuf Abdi Shirdon. I always look up names and locations if I haven't heard of them before. I find myself crying now, that I can find no reference on the internet to one of the honorable men. I appreciate so much your courage and wonderful writing. I just wanted to share with you that I find it so sad to not be able to see that it seems that he was not honored anywhere else. I agree with you that there are probably many good men in Somalia, but the corrupt ones seem to get the most press. I am a trauma treatment expert and am working with local refugees and US Marines, so I hear many stories of war and torture. But I wanted to thank you, as I will hold the name Yusuf Abdi Shirdon in my heart. V/R Beverly
